The Meridian Amateur Radio Club operates an emergency
weather net in the event of bad weather or natural
disaster. The Emergency weather net is held
(when activated) on the Meridian Amateur Radio Club
repeater located on 146.700 mhz. All licensed ham radio
operators are welcome to participate in the weather net.

This net is held in conjunction with the National Weather
service office in Jackson,MS and the Lauderdale County
Emergency management Agency.

NOTE:
In the event the 146.700 repeater is down the KI5FW repeater 146.970
(100 hz. tone) is to be used as a backup and to conduct all non-emergency traffic
during the formal weather net session.
